A plague breaks out in the human civilization of Mythstalsia, decimating the population and destroying the nation within a few years. Waves of the plague continue to run rampant through human populations for decades afterwards, until it finally dies down sometime later. In their efforts to stop the plague, large amounts of healing magic is used. The amount of power drained in the process results in several cities being turned into desolate dead magic zones that still exist to this day.
