Bellum (bell-oom)
Bellum is the God of War and Strife. He is the Patron of fighters, soldiers, generals and commanders. His gifts are the genius of tactics, strategy and logistics.
He is represented by images and statues of a large male, clad in ornate armor (often colored bright red) and wielding great weapons like swords, axes and hammers. He is typically shown clean-shaven, with long hair tied into a top knot.
He is associated with the red star Bellaries (actually a planet) and a red-colored comet that crosses the sky every 29.5 years called Victaries. He is often referred to as the "Red God" and the prayers offered to him are called War Songs.
