Mortum (Mort-oom)

Mortum is the God of Death.  He rules the Underworld (the realm of the dead, not a physical place) and is responsible for ensuring the proper transition of a soul from the realm of the living to the realm of the dead.   He is represented in art and images as a cloaked and hooded figure, tall, thin and (often) skeletal in appearance.  He has "children" called reapers he employs to ferry the dead to his realm.  Reapers are depicted looking much like him (robed and hooded).   One unique aspect of the worship of Mortum are his temples.  Temples of Mortum are univeresally built entirely underground, with simply the crypt/vault located deeper under the actual temple.
