The White Sanctum of the Quinary
The White Sanctum is a very large complex of buildings containing one of the many libraries of the Elven Order of the Quinary. It is located on what is known as the White Road between the capital at Vytu and the Archontate of Melorian. It is 30 miles southwest of the City of Vytu in the foothills of the Naru Mountains.
The Sanctum is a large walled complex with tall walls and even taller towers, all constructed in elegant white marble. It is a remarkably beautiful building, and can be easily seen from many miles away.
Purpose / Function
A massive repository of all forms of knowledge and learning, as well as a center of training and study for the Order itself.
Design
The main building of the Sanctum is a huge building with a tall steepled tower at its front. This building is surrounded by walls and towers. There are six large towers built into the 30' thick walls surrounding the complex, and another tower standing some distance outside the walls and only connected to the complex via an underground tunnel. Each of these seven towers are associated with a specific discipline of the Order, while the central building houses a massive library complex.
Architecture
Constructed of finely finished white marble, the complex is an eye-catching landmark. The Sanctum is approached via a paved and walled road of more than 2 miles with fountains and pools located along its path.
