Town of Appleby
The Town of Appleby is located 11 miles north of Riverside and six miles from the west bank of the River. It is small (only 850 people, and is really just a big village), but it has a stout wall and has chosen Waldo Woode , a 50-year-old Halfling male as its Alderman. The people of Appleby grow (literally) hundreds of tons of apples and pears every year, and cart them to the river for packing and shipping all over the region. Every farm and ranch in the area keep large orchards, so the local drink is always some form of cider or fruit wine.
