Shire of Riverside

The Shire of Riverside is a very large tract of territory, extending from the Manito River to the western extent of the Kingdom.  Most of the population of the Shire, numbering more than 4,600 souls, live along the eastern edge of the shire.  The further west one goes within the shire, the more sparce the populus becomes.
Large cattle and horse farms move their animals from the deep prairie regions of the far west to the Manito, where they are then loaded aboard barges and ships to all corners of the map.  The Shire's seat of administration is the Town of Riverside, located 11 miles north of the City of Elisar, and boasts a population of 2,400 souls.
The Sheriff of the Shire is Urian Turner, a 44-year-old Human that served in the Regiments of Dragoons for more than 20 years.  He is an accomplished leader of men and the younger brother of Sheriff Stanlin Turner of the Shire of Pottston in the Ward of Jemptal.
