Session 039: Trial of Versi, Meeting with Veronica, clean-up & Downtime start Report

General Summary

The party met with Veronica in the Sour Vintage Inn, a week after organizing it on the 25th day of the first month. On the 5th day of the second month the party met with Veronica & shared some bread while talking:
An oath was sworn: To not directly or indirectly go after each other, & in a century of peace, Veronica would point them in the direction of where to go to find the secrets of divinity.
Euadne mentioned to Veronica that they might need her to become a balanced pantheon, Veronica would think about it.
Then Theron, Kyrah, & Euadne went to Thylea while Hulgnir studied.   Phoibe took over starting Theron's Intelligence Spy Organization.   The Fame Cities followed Olby's suit & renamed themselves:
  • Jekkar became Jekardt
  • Euadne became ?
  • Theron became Theros
  • Wodin became Odir
  • Poesdion became Pythorus
  • Oren became Obren
  • Dragonslayer became ?
Phoibe undertook full armour training, & simple, martial training, for 3,000 GP each.   Theros has hanging gardens along the tree brigdes & homes on the ground, underground, & in the trees. Famous Inn is named,   Dragon lairs:
  • Phoibe took a home in Theros, one close to the center of Theros.
  • Apollo built his lair about 1-3 miles out of , & had a secondary lair in the Towers of Wizardry.
  • Jor rennovated his lair that was about 2 miles out of Hulgnir's city state.
  • Neptune built his lair in an underwater cave in the sea around Pyra's stronghold.
  • Arkrainia built her lair in the cliffs of the cliffside city of Obren.
  • Hyakinthoes built his lair 2 miles out of Jekardt.
The mirrors were moved to their new locations:
  1. The Mithral Mines
  2. Jekardt
After the decade oath of peace ended with the Amazons, they offered a renewal to Theron. Theron accepted with the amendment that the recruits be sent bonded with Dragons, Darien saw nothing wrong with that. This time the Oath was set for a hundred years.   Pyra reminded the party that Volkan had finished his luck sword (& teaching Jekkar how to work with Star Metal). So they went back to the nether sea, to free the Greater Titans trapped there.     Ollidak gave Hulgnir mushrooms & Theron saw that they weren't edible, & warned Hulgnir not to eat them.   Freed the 3 Titans:
  1. Versi (Foresight) [1 prophecy]
  2. Yala (Beauty) [1 beauty tip]
  3. Goloron (Wisdom) [1 piece of lore]   Using first a wish back to sanity & another to free them from petrification. Using 6 wishes to accomplish this, leaving only 1 wish, that Pyra was saving for himself.   The then went back to Praxys where they saw an empty tower. Sydon's journal that revealed no love for his own children, & the three main furies who took magical items from Theron in payment to explain simply what an orrey is. They also had a telescope made in giant size that could see into other planes or realities. Statues petrified by what seemed to be an Eurdayle. An elevator without harpies, they checked the prison out & the other levels. They found no living creature, the prison was covered in corpses.
  4. Whle trying to discuss what to do about the insects who had grown to 375 from 10 in 25 years. John & Oren had walked away & murdered their queen.
When the party came upon the room they saw both of them covered in blood & pheromone. Then a new queen was born of the old one. Ending the session for this week.

Oath with the Amazons was renewed.   "To show our gratitude to you, Chosen heroes of the Oracle, we the new Queens of Amazons will give the gift of temporary equality. Theron, we thank you for helping restore us to the Throne, even knowing that it means your banishment & losing your cousin & sister.
As thank you we offer you a deal. Swear with us, an Oath of Peace for a decade. To stay out of each other's affairs, not undermine each other directly, or indirectly.
We shall allow thy cousin & sister to go with you & treat you with respect, so long as they are given positions suited to women of their nature. One mayor, the other Steward to your stronghold.
Themis will fund & supply the workers for your stronghold in the town your fame founded.
You shall send to us two recruits every year to Themis.
Your sister & cousin to return at the end of the Oath."
    With a few additions:
  1. The recruits would be bound to Dragons.
  2. The Oath would last a century, ending in 616.
