Session 048: Uriel, Prometheus & the Promethean Fire. Report
General Summary
The Dragonlords came upon an angel with a pure white greatsword, & a demon with a sword of fire.
A frost Salamander, Phoenix, Leviathan, A Zartan, & a Tempest. Jekkar scattered the melee attackers in & got in closer. They fought hard. Neptune finished the Angel that made his way out of Scylla, Uriel. Earning him a Greatsword Holy Avenger, & a spellbook (being a Dragon he gave the blade to the other Paladin in the party, Jekkar. The spellbook he gave to Euadne.) John defeated the Demon, earning him the promethean fire.
This earned everyone level 18.
They went to the Ultros, teleporting to their Teleportation Circle near Aresia.
Meeting with the Merchant, they told her her payment was coming in on the Ultros. She was happy with that.
The Queen of Aresia was happy to see that they were successful with finding everything they needed.
Narsus took the Ambrosia, Cadeus, Promethean Fire, & the Spellbook, cast a ritual eating ambrosia, & casting Theogenesis. He carved a mithral cup & putting what he was going to do to become a god of beauty on the cup, he shoved the cup within himself, attuning to it instantly.
Narsus told them that to bless the Mithral, they needed to sacrifice that which was most precious to them.
They gave up:
The Tarrasque had an aura that limits flying around it, & it they were in a semming swarm. One of the largest Tarrasques has a disintegration breath weapon. Appearing to have absolutely no intelligence & just rampaging through the waters, heading it seems to Jekardt.
The eight headed Dragon was still resting hear Theros, showing little sign of waking. Divination suggests it won't wake up in 7 days.
The Kraken is intelligent, immune to lightning, & does double damage to structures. The Amulet of Pure Good will help.
The Behemoth Tome of the Alhoon.

This sword has two modes
1. Light
When you hit a fiend or an undead with it, that creature takes an extra 1d10 radiant damage.
While you hold the drawn sword, it creates an aura in a 10-foot radius around you. You and all creatures friendly to you in the aura have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects. If you have 17 or more levels in the paladin class, the radius of the aura increases to 30 feet.
2. Darkness
Magical darkness spreads from the sword when it is worn and fills a 15-foot-radius sphere; the darkness will even spread around corners. A crea1ture with darkvision can't see through the swords's darkness, and nonmagical light will not pierce it. The magical darkness is not dispelled by light from magical effects. The swords wielder, on the other hand, has darkvision to a range of 60 feet. This darkvision is not affected by darkness from the sword or another source.
Completely covering the sword with something opaque blocks the darkness: think of the darkness as "negative light".
When you hit a with it, that creature takes an extra 1d10 necrotic damage.

Based upon a week of scrying it now seems that:
- the Tarrasque is heading for Jedardt & devouring everything in its path
- The 8 headed Dragon sleeps near Theros (& even after 7 days based upon Divinations she will not stir in the next 7 days)
- The Behemoth appears to be heading in a Wodin-Hulgnoria direction
- The Kraken will be heading to Mytros
- John wants to go after the Dragon & would like someone to see if they can put a Dragonslayer Sword into the Promethean Fire.
- Pyra wants to protect Mytros as he needs to kill two Kraken by himself, so he would like to use the Talisman of Pure Good.
- Oren wants to fight the
- Anora wants to protect her cities of Wodin & Hulgnoria, with her Dragons.
