Biological Traits

All High Elves have fair or olive skin and long, pointed ears that average four inches in length. Their hair color can be blonde, black, or red/auburn, and their eye color can be blue or green.

Female names always end in -a, -elle, and -iel.

Male names always end in -an, -en, -ir, -on, -yn, and -yr.

History

Beginnings

For millions of years, Dryads lived on and sustained ti'Rae. Their magic is what kept the planet healthy and green, safe from meteors and strife. However, the Dryads were not immortal nor infallible. The time of the Dryads was nearing its end.

Soon, there was but one Dryad remaining. In an attempt to keep ti'Rae alive and sustain its magical energies, she used the Forbidden Magicks to create a new being, one that could safely protect ti'Rae. Unfortunately, having never used these Magicks before and not knowing precisely what would happen, the Dryad put too much into her first creation.

The first High Elf, Thessalia, was born. She burned brightly on the astrological plane.

The Dryad knew that she had to try again, and again, and again. But each new creation was barely a flicker compared to Thessalia. By the time the Dryad was spent, having used the last of her life force, there were 18 High Elves she had woven into existence.

And so, the age of the High Elves began.
