Red's Tavern

Along the road leaving the town of Exningham, a popular bustling tavern exists called Red's Tavern. It is owned by Drusa Tonslit and his wife, Dena Greenbriar. The barkeep is Drusa's maternal cousin, Tandy Tonslit.

Purpose / Function

Drusa established Red's Tavern both as a source of income and to socialize with folks passing through. He is known for keeping a lively atmosphere and being a safe place for refuge for all travelers.

Design

The tavern has two buildings and a stable. The main building contains a large bi-level sitting room with copious comfortable seats as well as a dining hall, bar and kitchen with an open design. There is a small stage for bards and/or storytellers. There is a larger room for solo travelers to sleep together much like a hostel. In the main building, there are two suites. In the smaller building, there are four moderately-sized private rooms and two large suites.

Sensory & Appearance

Red's Tavern is warm and comfortable. It always smells of freshly baked bread (which is found aplenty) and of freshly washed linens.
