Dena Greenbriar is a resident of Exningham. She is the spouse of Drusa Tonslit and mother of Kindonn Greenbriar, the Roth-Kissed. While her life at present is peaceful, it was not always so.

Personal history
Dena was born to lowborn parents in the slums of Olmond in the state of Roth. She lived with them for some months and while they were loving parents, she failed to thrive. Her parents were desperate to improve her health, so they took her to a Rothwelian healer when medicine had failed them. Once within the garden of Rothwyn, Priestess of Rothwelia, Dena's health nearly immediately turned for the better. When taken home, her health deteriorated once more. The priestess offered to raise Dena, much to her parents' sadness. For the good of their daughter, they gave her up for adoption to the priestess. She was taken to a temple on the outskirts of the border town Wodgering, Roth.
As the guiding principles of those who follow Rothwelia are to spread kindess and to foster growth in other and nature, Dena had a very nurturing childhood. These values were instilled into her, as well. This was the case until the Dymebian Empire once again developed the thirst of conquest. Some weeks after Dena met her future husband Drusa following his presence at the temple for healing, Wode Although the army did not make it much further than the border, Wodgiring was successfully overrun. The temple was burned and her home was gone. Dena ran with Drusa and his companions the Brothers Gemini, as defending the temple seemed hopeless. Her life had been one of peace thus far. As she ran, she could hear the screams of those she abandoned.
Following the destruction of the temple, Dena felt as though her entire past burned along with it. She had to forge who she became and her journey began.
Education
Dena was given a thorough education at the temple she was raised at, along with her peers.
