Physical Description

General Physical Condition

The Ender Dragon is almost always a hale and hearty queen, flying about her realm and unbothered by ailment. Although she can fly for hours to days on end, she does eventually tire and must touch down to rest.
Her scales are so strong and packed so tightly that no blade or arrow can pierce her hide.

Body Features

The Queen of the End is a quadrupedal dragon with two wings. Her body is covered entirely in black and silver scales. Her forelegs have a high range of rotation, allowing her to swing them outward much like human arms. Her legs are slightly less flexible. The Ender Dragon's wings are batlike, membrane-based wings, but they are much too sturdy to be torn. Her neck and tail are long and highly flexible. Along her spine she has a row of silver ridges, which are protrusions from her vertebrae. Along her neck she has a horse-like mane of silver hair.

Identifying Characteristics

Like most creatures that call the End home, the Ender Dragon has glowing purple eyes. Her throat also glows purple, which becomes bright enough to be visible through her scales when she is about to spew fire.

Abilities

Flight: The Ender Dragon is a very powerful flying being; she can coast for hours to days on end without needing to rest. Despite her size, she is also very fast and manuoverable.
Fire and Acid: She can create fire in her belly and breathe jets or bursts of it as an attack. Her flames are purple. Her saliva is also acidic, and she has been known to spit it at threats.
Immortality: As a demigoddess of sorts, the Ender Dragon cannot die. She may, however, be vulnerable to being killed.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

The Ender Dragon is an ancient entity just a hair younger than the End itself. It is believed that she helped Ses’ser create the first Enders, when they had more draconic features similar to her own. Ever since her creation she has reigned over the End as its Queen.
When humans came to the End in the form of End Settlers, it was immediately understood that the Ender Dragon's rule was not to be disputed. Because they submitted to her leadership and did not threaten her people, they were allowed to live in the End.
