Once a god working under the God of Magic, they betrayed their old master, lending their domain to be one controlled by the Sovershentvo, God of Undeath. Having created the school of necromancy long ago some rumors say they taught the art to Sovershenstvo before being surpassed by them, while others claim that Sovershenstvo came from another world, holding a greater mastery over undeath than even this world’s god of necromancy, causing them to bend the knee. Despite this, wizards seeking to learn the art of necromancy typically seek guidance from Azemarim over Sovershenstvo, as they are far more willing to share their knowledge and gain a following.
