They appear to their followers as a nearly eight-foot tall skeleton of blackened bones, they appear to take the form of a tiefling with a tail, horns, and fangs present on their skeletal form. Two large boney wings attach where their shoulder blades normally are. Their eyes glow with an icy blue flame and they are considered to have created the first vampires in the world. Those seeking the secrets to lichdom and ancient forgotten necromantic spells regularly worship Sovershenstvo. Azemarim, God of Necromancy defected from the god of magic to serve the Sovershensvto causing there to be a somewhat bitter strain between Kilo, God of Magic and the God of Undeath. Some theorize that the God of Undeath is working with Shezarr, God of Darkness and Shadow, and Azemarim, God of Necromancy to create their own ‘shadow weave’ of magic separate from the one ruled over by Kilo, God of Magic.

The Staff of Sovershenstvo is said to be able to gift undeath to any corpse, with the soul and memories of its previous inhabitant, with but a spell. It matters not if it is a dragon, kraken, or giant, they will be brought back successfully. This staff also gives its wielder power over the creatures it returns from the dead, as despite the fact these undead do posses souls and memories, they are still bound to the master of the staff.
