The Corridor's of the Mages

Beyond strange phenomenon known as Celestial Veil's lies an ancient network of corridors, a fading and in disrepair parallel dimension once used by the great mages of Xosutan for swift travel across the world. These magical corridors are scattered throughout the material plane, and their openings appear and disappear at random intervals. Adventurers who dare to venture through these portals find themselves closer to their destination, but they must also contend with the perilous rooms that lie within. Within this ancient labyrinth of hallways lies many forgotten rooms, some fading out of existence with the passing years as the magic used to sustain them fades ever further, but within these rooms lies great treasures and equally great dangers, as the strongest of foes are attracted to the allure of the magical treasure within. Some ruins within the ancient borders of the old Xosutan Empire still contain permanent portals into the Corridor's and so some groups use them to navigate on a regular basis. However if the entry portal is ever disturbed while someone is passing through the corridor all locations nearest to that entrance can be instantly destroyed, killing everything inside that portion of the Corridor.
