Vatia, Goddess of Life

God of Life

Vatia appears as a humanoid figure with an ever-shifting face that swaps between various races and animals as they speak, at one moment appearing as a human man/woman then the very next second speaking from an ox head which then shifts to that of a snake. They are one of the oldest gods in the pantheon, and although not responsible for life itself (As other Gods and beings from ‘the world before’ existed before them) they have taken upon themselves the role of guardian of life and a guiding force for evolution and new creation. They regularly seed lifeless worlds with the beginnings of life, or will even create entirely new creatures and species to fill these worlds or even regions on worlds that have been scoured of life. They are generally a good-aligned god though one must remember from the most harmless worm to the deadliest disease, to the most fearsome monster, these are all lifeforms that Vatia loves. Legend tells of a time when no new life sprung into existence, and the world grew stagnant around the time Morana was killed and Bas, Goddess of Death ascended.
