Grand Caravanserai

The Grand Caravanserai is a series of wide streets and promenades running directly from the Steps of Deneir to the World Crevasse, bisecting the Boneyard Level into the rich Cliffside District to the southeast and the slum-like Downtrodden to the northwest.
These streets are lined with businesses, warehouses and other mercantile establishments housing the various endeavours of the Exotists' Union.
The Caravanserai itself is busy at all times of day and night, though the nature of its business varies - on days the Crevasse remains closed, there is a nervous energy to the air, caravans standing idly by and merchants nervously wringing their hands, only to jump into immediate and overwhelming action the moment it opens up.
