Darian VII

Darian VII was the Duke of the Dominion of Bolvikik before and during the Legion's invasion of the continent. He belonged to a much beloved family line that democratically filled the role of Duke. He died in 25,2547AE, sacrificing himself to save his kingdom and fight the invaders.

Personal history

Darian VII was the son of Darian VI. He was a natural born Darian Tostell, which many assumed would result in his eventual governing of the Dominon of Bolvikik. Darian VII got into politics at the age of 18, when he learned his father had become quite sick. Darian VI died when Darian VII turned 19. An election was held shortly after and Darian VII won the majority of the vote. He would be challenged in his tenure as Duke, but he continued the tradition of not losing his seat or losing favour with his people.
Darian VII was an early opponent to the Legion and was a major player in the Revell Accords. He championed the idea of a unified military, but his favour did not extend beyond his kingdom.
Darian VII was one of the first to acknowledge the Legion's inevitability and began a campaign of smuggling refugees into his dominion. When the Legion was at his doors, he surrendered his Dominion officially under the agreement that he would personally surrender to the Kaiser. He would instead be forced to surrender to the Brutal One, one of the Kaiser's favoured legates.
Darian VII led the Brutal One into the valley between his lands into the capital of Titan. At the mid point of the journey, Darian VII had his men detonate explosives along the mountain sides, crushing himself, the Burned One and his men. This would mark the start of Titan's open rebellion.
Darian VII's son, Darian VIII succeeded him as leader, but with the Dominion officially surrendered, ruling only over the capital of Titan.
