Material Characteristics

A Dust Cloak, or Duster, is a long heavy cloak that extends down to the wearers calves. They are usually made of a heavy fabric to be stiff and prevent flowing, and have collars that can be rolled to look professional or lifted to protect the wearer's face. A Duster can be customized to fit a person particular needs. Some adventurers prefer higher colours and minimal buttons to hide their face, but be able to shift in a fight occurred.

Physical & Chemical Properties

A Duster is made from heavy material to prevent it from flowing in the breeze. It is meant to protect the wearer's finer clothes from the dust that collects on the wind in the dry landscape. This style of coat is very common in Callisto , whose roads are dirt and either stir up dust or collect in mud in the rain. A Duster allows the wearer to travel between locations and peel off their outer layer to reveal a pristine outfit.
Due to the popularity of Dusters in the areas they are worn, a small market has been created for them which results in a variety of styles. A common Duster could just be fabric and buttons, but those with class may want their duster to reflect their status and may be adorned with buckles, belts, and different coloured fabric.
The Mayor, Odo Diabolos , can often be seen wearing an all black Duster lined in a red velvet with slits on either side for easy access to his weaponry., for example.

Trade & Market

A Duster can be purchased in many locations. Common Dusters are purchasable in almost any clothing store. Areas that are particularly prone to dust and mud, however, tend to have stores that sell special or custom created Dusters.
