Isaac Chauncey

Personal History

Isaac Chauncey was a wealthy businessman in Titan who owned the vast majority of ships at the docks and controlled the flow of trade in the region. When the war broke out, Chauncey's business did not slow down, his ships continued to travel the same routes they did pre-war. Once the assassination of Duke Darian VIII happened, Chauncey admitted to his status as a Legion sympathizer, going as far as putting his name into the ring as a potential leader for Titan.

Death

In 25,252AE, Chauncey was allegedly assassinated by Skalt, a Half-Orc Barbarian/Rogue who was a former employee of him. He is said to have murdered him in retaliation for Praxis Praetus's role in murdering Burr, a potential politician who was anti-Legion. Once it was revealed that Praxis had been framed, a short time later it was revealed by the guard who was investigating Chauncey's death that he had actually died of natural causes. Said guard then immediately resigned from his post and disappeared.

Legacy

Once Isaac Chauncey died, his assets were claimed by the government and sold to the highest bidder. People who used to run ships for him became business owners seemingly overnight. Chauncey's logos and emblems were replaced at the docks by new companies. Chauncey is now no more than a memory.
