Poramuga Lake (POR-ah-MOO-ga Layk)

Located in current day Lifuapora and was once the site of the ancient floating cities of the Poramuga people. Though called a lake, it's so large that it's technically an inland sea.   During the GREAT DROUGHT, the lake dried up and the cities were left vulnerable to outside forces and unstable due to the muddy lake bottom. Most of the citizens moved to the shores to set up encampments to defend themselves. Over time the countries of Lifuapora, Dumu and Tialga were created. When the water filled the lake again, no one returned, and most of the old city's buildings stayed on the sea floor or were harvested for the new settlements.
