The Divide

The Divide is a massive network of canyons that run the width of The Fracture continent. It is surrounded by an everlasting "fog" that hide the edges of the cliffs, making it very dangerous to explore.
The canyons provide provide some protection from the elements including monsoons, and hurricane force winds that come off the Great Ocean, and have a bountiful ecosystem with an array of tropical plants and foods that grow on the cliffs and the canyon floor.
On each end where the canyon hits the coasts, a large waterfall pours in from the ocean during high tides. Then, during low tide, the waterfall recedes and the river at the bottom heats up and becomes the Fractal Fog.
The Kindred live in a large city in one spur of the canyon. The city, Moon Drift, was built by the Moonburn Tirava.
