Chaos Phage

Chaos Phage is a magical disease spread by the Slaadi of the Elemental Chaos. When a mortal is infected with the illness, they grow increasingly erratic and weakened as they gestate a slaad tadpole inside their minds. When the tadpole is fully formed, it transforms the infected host into a new slaad. Luckily, prior to the transformation, it can be cured through mundane and simple magical means. Once the transformation occurs, however, only the most powerful magics can return the slaad to its previous mortal life.
