Danavat (DAHN-uh-vaht)

Danavat is a Rakshasa who dwells in the lands of Jantara in central Velnar. He has several identities he maintains in these lands, including a wealthy merchant, the proprietor of an opium den, and a wealthy lord who is a great patron of the arts. He is known to develop long schemes to bring down large numbers of mortals in order to feast on the tragedy of their failures. He is extremely territorial, given to jealously guard "his" lands from incursions by other forces.
