Dead Man's Cross

  Dead Man’s Cross is an eerie landmark in the Shadowfell. At a crossroads, a Human  corpse dangles from a cross of wood with a sign above its head that says, “Ask,” in the common tongue. If the corpse is asked for directions, its fingers flick slightly to indicate which way to go. The identity of the corpse is unknown, and it doesn’t always appear at the same crossroads.
