Flumph

Flumphs are a race of Aberrations that hail from the Far Realm. Unlike most inhabitants of that terrible place, they are gentle and good, so they often seek to escape to Tol when possible. They are attracted to strong thoughts and emotions and are “passive parasites”, consuming the by-products of powerful minds.
Flumphs communicate through powerful telepathy and can even break into private psychic conversations, a trait that seems nearly unique. In addition to speaking telepathically, they change color to denote emotions.
