Gorgon

Gorgons are metallic, bull-like creatures – predators with an unusual method of hunting. They breathe a cloud of greenish, noxious vapors that can turn living creatures to stone. Once their prey is petrified, they trample it, breaking it into pieces, and then devour the stone chunks.
Gorgons are most commonly encountered in the wilds of Minostal, but they can be found in other areas of Tol as well. The Minotaurs of Minostal sometimes capture gorgons and use their still-living hearts in the foul ritual of Troeikardios to create powerful, elite warriors that they call the Sideroder (sy-DARE-o-dare) or “Ironskins.”
