Grobin the Gatesman

Grobin the Gatesman is an older Kalrentai man who keeps the gate at the Frog and Willow Inn. He’s suspicious, argumentative, and downright ornery. It’s not known why the Inn’s owner, Calla Graywood, would employ such an unpleasant fellow. Most assume she inherited him with the Inn and just hasn’t gotten around to replacing him yet.

Grobin has stringy, greasy gray hair, and he’s missing his right eye. When pressed, he says that he’s a veteran of battles in the Orcish Steppes and was a prisoner of war who escaped. If this is true, it may be why he’s difficult to threaten or intimidate.
