Mithral

Mithral is a metal of great rarity found throughout Tol, especially in places where the Feywild is thinly veiled. It is highly prized both for its strength, its lightness, and its beauty. It is sometimes called “fey silver” and sometimes “star silver”, but neither are correct. The Eladrin greatly prize it and use it to make weapons and armor that are often enchanted, including the famous (but somewhat inaccurately named) Elven Chainmail.
