Eladrin

The Eladrin-in-Exile (or just Eladrin) are a race of Fey creatures originally native to the realm of the Feywild. They settled in the lands now called Tavanion and remained one of the more powerful of the Seven Kingdoms for over one thousand years. The Tavanion eladrin call themselves Eladrin-in-Exile because they have left the ancient eladrin kingdom of Eldanor. They are no longer permitted to enter so deeply into the Feywild. This occurred at the time of the Feywar and is believed to be linked to the fracture between Elves, Eladrin, and Drow.
When the Worldbreaker was released in 1081 SKR, it erupted from the earth in the center of Gwyllan's Watch, Tavanion's capital. Devastated by the loss of so many people, Maraliana ap Kadishai, Esavola of her people, led the majority of them back into the Feywild. A smaller group, led by Maraliana's son, Prince Belerion ap Kadishai, refused to leave, intending to help defeat the menace and rebuild the kingdom.
