Sambaal

  Sambaal is an intense red paste made from chili peppers that’s popular in the Tishad kingdoms of southern and central Velnar. Most families have their own recipe, but all of them are strong and spicy. It’s usually added to the sauces of other dishes or mixed into a bowl of rice to increase the flavor and heat of the meal.
