The Sea of Storms is a cold water sea that borders the continent of
Aldorath to its west. It is known for the violent storms that blow across it, though rarely making landfall on Aldorath. Travel through the Sea of Storms is thought all but impossible, making sailing a ship west near suicide. Some mages believe that there must be a conjunction with the
Elemental Chaos which causes this weather. According to some legends of the
Elves of
Faerinwold, it's possible to sail west and come bodily to the blessed realm of
Arvandor. Despite the perils, some elves feel an inexplicable pull to attempt it, but none ever return, making it uncertain whether they succeeded or not.
