Sigurth Threeaxe

Sigurth Threeaxe was a champion of the Hastane people during the time of their exodus from Jotunheld to Aldorath. When the Hastane reached the northern shores of Aldorath, they found mostly inhospitable beaches and daunting sea-cliffs with little sign of lands they could settle and live in. Docking seemed impossible on the rocky beaches, and grumbling against Sigurth’s leadership began.

Sigurth, frustrated by the demands of other clans that they move on, undertook a treacherous climb up the cliffs to scout. What he found when he reached the top was a lush, green land, ready for new inhabitants and natural sea-caves along his climb that could be worked and made into an incredibly well-defended city. The city that was founded where he undertook this mission was known from its beginnings as Sigurth's Climb.
