Swamp peppers are a small, wrinkled green pepper common in the swamps of
Dalenshire. They are prized by the
Halflings who live there, who love the intense heat that the fresh peppers bring to their cuisine. When dried, the seeds darken to black and lose the intense bite of their heat, but still impart a mild spice that is prized by cooks all over
Aldorath. The pepper trade is one of Dalenshire’s primary exports.
