Yeenoghu

Yeenoghu is a Demon lord, given religious homage by Gnolls. He manifests as a huge, but emaciated gnoll, always hungry, wielding a flail of many spiked heads. In his name, gnolls perpetrate many bestial and brutal acts. He is sometimes called the Beast of Butchery, the Hungry One, or the Devourer of Children. No one is sure if Yeenoghu created the gnolls, or if they came to worship him over time, but he is one of most feared of demon lords. He also commands the allegiance of many ghouls, thanks to his position as a lord of carrion. This puts him and the demon prince Orcus in direct competition, as Orcus tries to bring all undeath under his control.
