Geffuhlos, champion of Ark, Neb-Neter-U, and Dal'Ttagi, forms the Grand Cyberpunk Empire of Efficiency and conquers the civilized world, ruling with an iron fist. This begins a new age of history known as the Age of Tempered Steel.
He orders for the top mages and scientists to work together to use magic in a more fine tuned manner, hoping to allow them to use magic to manipulated the programming of technology. Eventually, a new form of magic known as Technomancy was created.
Geffuhlos eventually created a powerful artifact to achieve True Immortality, but it had a misfire and went on a rampage with its mythic power. This caused pockets of time to rip and tear asunder, freezing himself in time for all of eternity upon his throne and having various pockets of time freeze across The City of Ark. Many of the cyberpunk automatons in the city went rogue and murderistic and made many locations uninhabitable. The Outer Sphere of The City of Ark seems to be mostly safe but deeper within many artifacts and powerful tools were lost.
This event marked the end of the Age of Tempered Steel.
