The Seeker

The Seeker is a champion of Tolaris who is destined to wield the Sword of Truth.
The Seeker during the Age of Tempered Steel worked his way through the Grand Cyberpunk Empire of Efficiency liberating the people from God Emperor Geffuhlos' control.
When the Seeker returned to the lands that he had liberated, he found them in ruin. After investigating, he found that the cause of this was not the empire, but himself. While the empire was a tyranny, it was not an awfully hard time to live in. By liberating the people, they had been cut off from the help of the empire and many had died due to sicknesses which could have been cured by the empire or similar causes. The Seeker was disgusted by his lack of foresight of this situation and that he allowed all of those people to die. He believed that the empire must still be defeated, but it would not be him to do it. Hating himself more than any enemy, he attacked himself with the Sword of Truth. He hoped that with this, the next Seeker could do better and save more than they killed. As his blood seeped from his wound, he witnessed all of the terrible things he had done, along with all of the wonderful things he had done. As he lay dying, the sword in his hand changed colors to a pure white, sharply contrasting dark red of his blood.
The body of this Seeker and the Sword of Truth were then swallowed by the earth as Tolaris reclaimed them both.
