Campaign

She served as a simple foot soldier, hoping to protect the village that welcomed her. Regularly facing the menace of abyssal wretches, lowly demons who grew increasingly common in the region.
One of her first missions under the command of Margaret Cromason was to investigate the disturbances around an ancient mine. However, Anadril's endeavor took a perilous turn when she fell into traps set by kobolds, only to discover that these creatures sought only to be left in peace within the abandoned mines. Through diplomacy, Anadril brokered a pact with the kobolds, ensuring the safety of both the townfolk and the kobolds in exchange for tranquility.
Despite this diplomatic success, Anadril faced further challenges when she encountered a group of orcs during her patrols. The traumatic memories of her past, but she fought them off and alerted Margaret to the looming threat.
Margaret and Anadril shared a close bond, built on mutual respect and admiration for each other's abilities. When Anadril warned of the impending orc incursion, Margaret took the threat seriously, dispatching Anadril on a scouting mission with a small contingent of soldiers.
The scouting mission ended in disaster, with Anadril being the sole survivor after an ambush by orcs and small demons. Anadril managed to escape, fleeing to an old hunter lodge. Knowing the orcs would soon catch up to her, she used the little time she had to prepare a few traps, killing most of the orcs as she only had to deal with the small flying demons.
Injured and bloodied, she barely made it back to town, where she was nursed back to health. During her recovery, Anadril received a vision from Goldrinn, the god she prayed to, bestowing upon her the power of a paladin of vengeance.
Within a few days, a full orc camp settles next to Bistul, beginning a siege. Margaret knows the town's fortifications won't last long— a week at best. Anadril implored Margaret to allow her to take action against the impending orc siege, planning to infiltrate the orc camp and create chaos before they can attack. Despite Margaret's reluctance to put Anadril in harm's way, the young elf embarked on a solo mission to infiltrate the orc camp.
Disguised as an orc, Anadril successfully infiltrated the camp and used the few Orcish words she knew to learn about their plans. Securing intel on a certain Demon that ordered this band of orcs to act Anadril started to retreat, only to be spotted by an abyssal wretch intrigued by her disguise.
Anadril, panicked, break her oil light on the wretch, setting it on fire as she flee, the wretch, immune to fire chase her, spreading the flames through the camps, the tents burning one after the other as the whole camp starts to burn.
Though her actions saved the town, Anadril faced Margaret's reproach upon her return, yet also earned the commander's grudging admiration for her bravery.
Anadril's exploits earned her a brief respite, during which she forged a deeper connection with Margaret, blossoming into a romantic relationship after Anadril invite Margaret to drink at the local tavern. However, the looming threat of the orc siege compelled Anadril to seek out a powerful weapon to defend her newfound home.
Upon learning of a hero's blade hidden in the highlander mountains, Anadril prepare for her journey.
She quest for better armor led her to the local armorer, where she hoped to procure plate armor for enhanced protection. However, the armorer's misogynistic demeanor and exorbitant prices prompted her to leave in dismay, opting instead for scale armor within her budget.
Her divine powers allowing her to summon an elk, she embarked on her journey to the Highlanders Mountains, encountering a Hill Giant terrorizing the plains. Swiftly intervening, Anadril defeated the Giant and rescued a farmer's daughter from harm.
Upon reaching the cave rumored to hold the hero's blade, Anadril descended into the treacherous depths of the Underdark, facing numerous perils along the way. Amidst the dangers of the subterranean realm, she encountered an Orog, an orc native to the Underdark, who offered his knowledge as a guide.
Initially wary of the Orog's intentions, Anadril reluctantly accepted his assistance as they navigated through the perilous tunnels. Despite their differences, they forged a tenuous alliance, culminating in battle against phase spiders.
Discovering the hero's remains and his coveted sword, alongside a his plate armor and a bag of holding, Anadril's journey through the Underdark concluded. With the Orog by her side, she emerged from the depths, extending an invitation for him to join her in Bistul.
However, their burgeoning friendship took an unexpected turn as Anadril succumbed to temptation, sharing a night of passion with the Orog. Overwhelmed by guilt and regret, she confessed her infidelity to Margaret upon their return to the city.
Margaret, incensed by the betrayal, condemned Anadril's actions and ordered the Orog's imprisonment, despite his potential as an ally. As tensions mounted between the two lovers, Anadril grappled with the consequences of her choices, uncertain of the future that lay ahead.
Despite the turmoil in her personal life, Anadril remained steadfast in her commitment to protecting Bistul. Aware that her relationship with Margaret had changed irreversibly, she focused her efforts on fortifying the city against the impending orcish threat, heeding the warnings from the Hesian Order.
Returning to the armorer, Anadril secured the necessary adjustments to her newfound plate armor, ensuring she was adequately equipped for the looming battle ahead.
As the orcish forces descended upon Bistul, Anadril sprang into action, riding forth on her elk to confront the three orcish shamans orchestrating a malevolent spell to weaken the town's defenses. With determination fueling her resolve, she engaged the shamans in a fierce battle, swiftly dispatching one and seizing her staff to prevent the spell.
Spotting the demonic commander leading the orcish horde, Anadril charged fearlessly into the fray, confronting the monstrous entity head-on. Despite being thrown from her elk and facing the demon alone, Anadril drew upon her paladin powers, smiting the creature and securing victory for the besieged city.
As the dust settled and the orcish forces retreated, Bistul stood triumphant.
