Cozy Turtle

The Cozy Turtle is a humble inn outside of . The building itself catches one's eye because the roof of the inn was made from a gigantic turtle shell. Benedict (chaotic good archmage) is the gnome adventurer who owns the Cozy Turtle, and he slew the turtle when it went on a slow but destructive rampage through the Feywild. Benedict is hardly ever seen in the Cozy Turtle, and the day-to-day operations are left to Sam, an ogre who has an average intelligence as a result of reading a tome of clear thought that Benedict gifted him.
Benedict's flair is seen throughout the Cozy Turtle. There are trinkets from around the known world sprinkled around shelves on the wall, including an ivory conch horn inscribed with the name "Fortuna" on it, a half-smiling portrait of a dragonborn labeled "Saphara" and a taxidermied owl whose eyes still move with a collar from "The Menagerie of Creatured-Oddities". The shelves themselves have a slight glow because they are made from Blueleaf wood. Globules of permanent light dance around the inn, giving the space an otherworldly feeling. Sam is almost always behind the bar or out on the floor talking to customers. There's hearty food served at all times of day, and Same has a small still in the basement that makes a chocolate stout that attracts customers from all over the city.
