Dragon Turtle Temple
At the heart of Vellamorn, the sea Elf city, stands a colossal Dragon turtle, its petrified carapace forming the foundation of both a temple and the royal palace.
Description
Upper layer
The upper layers of this remarkable creature serve as a temple dedicated to Jan'ahrem, a place of deep reverence and devotion for the sea elves of Vellamorn. Additionally, this sacred space serves as a historical archive, with a series of intricately engraved frescoes adorning the walls. These frescoes depict the genesis of the Great Coalition, immortalizing the unity of sea elves, Merfolk, and tritons in their quest to seal Tromokratis' power and protect their world.Frescos
The series of stone tablets within the temple of Jan'ahrem in Vellamorn presents a vivid historical narrative: The first stone tablet depicts humanoid figures with tridents and distinctive fin-like forearm appendages engaged in combat with Sahaguins. On the second tablet, a massive creature interposes itself between the two opposing groups. This creature is portrayed as enormous, with clawed appendages attacking the humanoid figures and a gaping maw filled with teeth. Its lower half is depicted as a mass of writhing tentacles. The third stone tablet showcases the humanoid figures from the first tablet joining forces with two other groups of humanoids. There are three distinct groups represented: the first with fin-like forearm appendages, the second with elongated ears, and the last group featuring fish-like tails as their lower bodies. The fourth stone tablet portrays three individuals holding large crystal orbs, their radiant light shining upon a crowd of other humanoids below. On the fifth stone tablet, the three individuals holding the crystal orbs confront the massive creature seen on the second tablet. Their orbs emit a brilliant light that appears to distress the creature. However, one of the three individuals, identified by the fin-like markings on their forearm, seems to be wounded in the confrontation.
