Vellamorn

Vellamorn is an independant sea elves city within the dragon's bay.

Geography

Vellamorn, nestled within the embrace of the Dragon's Bay, is a sea Elf settlement. Closer to the coast, the bay's water are calm, contrasting with the Dragon's Breath farther out to sea. These serene waters provide the perfect environment for the growth of vibrant coral reefs.
North of the city are large kelp forest, and on the other side are the vibrant corals barriers surrounding the south of the city.

Description

Vellamorn's architecture is a fusion of living coral and volcanic stone, its structures are adorned with bright, polished shells and lustrous pearls, casting a radiant glow in the water.
The floatting Treasure is a bar in the city, offering home made shots and freshly cooked meals.
A pawn shop in town serve various goods.

Dragon Turlte Temple

At the heart of the settlement lies the petrified body of a dragon turtle, the Dragon Turtle Temple. This large building serve as a reminder of the war with Tromokratis, as well as a central building for the city.
The carapace was carved out and now serve as a temple for Jan'ahrem as well as museum for the sea elf history.
The main body is divided in two layers, one serving as the sealing chamber of the cloven crystal, the other as the office of the leader.

Society

The water surroudning Vellamorn is calm and shallow, but the people of Vellamorn have another duty, one bringing them away from the comfort of the calm water in which they live. The sea elves of Vellamorn are keeper of the Dragon's Breath, a rift to the Elemental Plane of Fire.
Every week, at the end of the week is a small ceremony for the guard shift in the dragon turtle temple, the guard swim out in the main street in a fancy choregraphy, as they are replaced by the new shift who swim back ot the temple.

Trade

Trade with outsiders is a rarity in Vellamorn, as the city is largely self-sufficient. Their kelp farms and skilled hunters provide sustenance, while beautiful coral artifacts serve as occasional luxury exports to distant lands.

Defenses

The borders of Vellamorn are safeguarded by small miltia of armed soldiers, primarily hunters, who can defend the city. Intruders often find themselves disoriented in the labyrinthine coral structures, at a significant disadvantage.
