Description
The large dungeon was Craag An place of power, and some kind of palace or castle. What is left of the ruins is built on three-level, the majority of which is underground as the crumbling ruins sink under the mud and swamps of the wood of the vale, now burried and submerged. A vast part of the dungeon was flooded, and what isn't entierly flooded is covered in a 5 to 30 c deep layer of muddy water. A large tower that used to be a beacon for Craag an and the highest point of the palace stick out of the ground, water flowing down the inclined and partially broken tower, cascading down the dungeon. This tower is the only know point of entry so far. Thanks to the recent occupation of the dungeon by Elven Rebels, part of its underground structure started to be cleaned and reconstructed. No water flood the dungeon anymore, the overgrown vines and toadtools have been reoved, and furnitures have been added to convert the dungeon into some large outpost and camp. A ray of light, either from the moon or the sun is guided down from the entrance to the dragon's room thanks to a set of statues holding mirrors, providing light in most of the building.Dragon Room
The adventurer defeated a large and powerful dragonbone golem in here, and in commemoration of their victory, the skeletal golem now hangs from the ceiling. The room has been repurposed as a large dorm room for the numerous rebels, plank covering the gaps leading to the acid pits on the side of the circular platform, the bridges were reinforced with wood and metal chains, and a Driftglobe floating in the skeletal trophy ribcage provide light.Library
The library was rearagned, the crack in the wall leading to another flooded room now serving as a spring, the water from which carefully flow into a stone bassin serving as a well for the rebels. The rare bookshelves still standing are now supporting the rare books salvaged from the ruins, and the rest of the place serves as a magical workshop and desks to write scrolls, keep up intendance notes, and other bureaucratic tasks.Treasure Room
What the first adventurer described as a treasure room now serves as the rebels' armory, closer to the exit, they can quickly grab bows and swords before leaving the outpost, and the stock of elven armors and weapons found within the ruins provide them with good quality material.Conference Room
The ancient conference room now serves a similar purpose, as it is the rebels' headmaster planning and meeting room, maps, notes on the Kingdom -o Qwir movements, and other similar trinkets can be found on the large central table.Map
History
A new home
The city was mostly destroyed after the Great Extinction, the god of the elves, Corellon Loth making sure every link to the Feywild was destroyed to assure the safety of its people. Eithne Flosthùl survived to the cataclysm, and with her people, she did stay on Toriel event after the cataclysmique event. The vast majority of Dryad had died with the incident, and slowly, they started to built their city Aknew, the rise of Craag An as we know it nowadays. However, a huge potion of the city was never rebuilt, and later, Tana's Great Reunion pushed the dryad to protect their forest rather than reconstructing the ruins, leaving the place to rot and be overgrown. Recently, a group of adventurers, working with the Elven Rebels cleared the dungeon, and the revels moved in, fleeing from the Kingdom -o Qwir, they used the ruins as they're new home, and are slowly building it anew. The Rift
In 1135 AD, adventurers came back from a journey to the plane of fire and fought the elven rebels. The battle, leading to the defeat of the rebels and the death of Evandor caused the portal present in the ruins to collapse creating a rift to the Elemental Plane of Fire. The battle's commotion attracted the attention of the Sisters of the Vale, prompting Reyth to visit the adventurers. Observing the devastation on the battlefield and the opened rift, Reyth, recognized the imminent danger. Stepping forward, he confronted the rift, unleashing his power to contain it and turning it into his true green Dragon form. He exerts every effort to prevent the tear through the planes from widening and consuming the entire forest. Despite Reyth's valiant efforts, countless elementals continued to emerge not only underground but also throughout the forest and the surrounding region, sowing chaos and fire in the empire. The Kingdom of Vale and Kingdom -o Qwir, in particular, were heavily affected.Seal
Reyth successfully sealed the rift, prompting the dryads to make the decision to seal the ruins entirely. Recognizing the lingering danger posed by the collapsed portal within, the dryads took swift action. The ruins were systematically destroyed, and every entrance was sealed off. In a tribute to the fallen elf, the site was renamed Evandor's Rest.
