Government

The Stonehorn clan of minotaurs holds the significance of horns in their culture in high regard, particularly due to the influence of their magical environment, which occasionally leads to the birth of hornless minotaurs. The clan's leader is a minotaur who has demonstrated their immense strength, but their position can be challenged by any warrior within the clan.

When leadership is contested, both the leader and the challenger must engage in a unique duel, one that involves only headbutting and the clash of their horns. This battle is fraught with danger, as the immense power behind each contender's horn can lead to the risk of breaking one. A broken horn is perceived as a shattered soul among the minotaurs of the Stonehorn clan. Consequently, such challenges to leadership are rare, and horn fights primarily occur after the leader's demise to select a new clan leader.

Culture

Magical Habitat

The Stonehorn minotaurs clan lives in a magic giant Mushroom Forest. And as such, their relation to magic is rather special. They burned down any mushroom surrounding their tribe and camp, like the savage they are, but the high Weave concentration in the area still manages to affect them.

As such, minotaur sorcerers (generally wild magic) are fairly common, but very few utilize this power.

Mounts and pets

The armored rhinoceros are the mounts of the Stonehorn clan. Rhinoceros mounts demonstrate the same resilience and fearlessness found in their untamed brethren, traits that serve them well when bearing their equally resolute riders.
