Lantan, is an island-nation in the Trackless Sea north of the Chultan peninsula, known for its advanced technology and the population's devout worship of Gond.

Modifications to the actual lore include:

1247 after the Great War:

Lantan citizens acquire a lot of strange green pieces of metal, which will eventually become their main currency, in exchange of weaponry and traps. This deal is made in secret and only brought into the light by an archeologist over 100 years later in an essay titled ''The Vile Secrets of Mystery Island''. 

1490 after the Great War:

Pelor's armies force the citizens of Lantan into producing intricate weaponry for them.
