Purple Haze

The Purple Haze, also known as CroakJuice or Shimmer, is a drug mostly found on the western coast of Amn. Its first appearance was allegedly, in 1492 after the Great War, in Athkatla where it was released in small doses. This rarity, combined with the high potency of the drug, lead to what is now called the Purple Crisis; an event in which junkies craved the drug so bad that it lead Athkatla into an unforgettable amount of chaos. This crisis only helped getting the drug knowned on the whole west coast and soon became a rarity that only the highest of cast could obtain. This eventually attracted the attention of many law enforcement agencies. The following year, the Purple Haze eventually started being produced more regularly and the Purple Crisis' subsided.
