Chapter 4: Verse 6: In sickness and in health… Report

General Summary

Bumble's Bunch succeeded in their goal to try and eliminate the walking dead shadow beings that came from the infirmary. The creatures were infected with a more advanced version of the sickness they have been dealing with and it has become a parasite. This new breed of the disease could cause more trouble for our heroes as it seems to not just kill, but reanimate the beings it kills into some kind of shadow demon. They did try to investigate more of this parasite with some samples taken from the battle. The samples were given to the crazed alchemist, Ali, and she started to run it through some separation techniques to break down its components. This however caused the parasite to react and began to break free of the glass containment and began to grow in strength from the sheer number of potions, alchemies, and reagents located in her lab. She immediately scooped up what she can and forced everyone out of her lab. Once everyone was out of it, she looked at the building and said "Hopscotch" and the entire building incinerated into nothing but smoke and vapor - Destroying any trace of the experiments, alchemies, and the parasite. With not much else to go on at the moment, the Bunch continued their quest to the new keep that Aleph secured in his dream-like meeting with Destiny. Upon arrival of the ShipFaced, the party came face to face with a monster from the nightmares of Aleph Nautilus - A Death Tyrant. This creature unleashed unfathomable power from the darkness of space to obliterate the Bunch into dust and echoes. But to their surprise, the Death Tyrant was more of a powerful illusion drawn out from Alephs' mind from the corrupted power inside the keep he now calls home. The illusion teleported their entire beings inside this inescapable dank dungeon to where they must succeed in its cleansing, or be lost in its depths forever.
