A backwater mining town in the Sword Mountains, Phandalin sits on the southern frontier of Neverwinter's domain of influence.

Architecture

Old stone buildings from when the village was more prosperous in the days of the Waterdhavian Empire stand sagging and crumbling around most of the village, red shingling atop them fading with age and occasionally toppling over. A small ward of hastily constructed shacks has been erected in the northern end of town. More permanent structures stand in the more central part of the village, built by reinforcing and restoring the village's older buildings.
