T-Rechs Cigars

Tyrus owns a townhouse on Elvarren’s Lane in Waterdeep. The storefront to T-Rex Cigars is a separate building in The Market on Trader’s Way road. Tyrus purchased the store that was formally Paethier’s Pipeweed, a business that fell on hard times and went under during the time of Tiamat. This location is a short walk from his home on 9 Elvarren’s Lane. The address of T-Rex Cigars is 420 Trader’s Way.
Waterdeep

Tyrus purchased the building, the old stock of pipe weed and paraphernalia that was left in the storage rooms, and hired two employees; Glaz and Kapkan. Glaz is a drow elf from Waterdeep and Kapkan, a human, is a former Ranger from Mirabar. While they are both in their 50’s, Glaz, the drow, is considered the young one. They both live in the apartment above the storefront.

Description

Along the cobblestoned street in The Market stands T-Rex Cigars. A two-story building in the standard cape cod/ tudor style of Waterdeep. Clean lines, half timber detailing, and long vertically placed decorative oak wood beams create a two-toned exterior with a slate shingle roof. Large windows framed by ivy make up the store front. “T-Rex Cigars” is painted in beautiful Mirabar (Russian) script with a bright red and gold color scheme over the glass. Curious customers looking into the window will see a smoking room with leather arm chairs and couches grouped around coffee tables and a brick fireplace. There can be two or three smokers in the lounge on a typical day, but can become quite crowded in the evenings, especially late at night on the weekends.

Customers are greeted by Glaz or Kapkan and are shown the selection of produces displayed on shelves and behind glass throughout the store. The dark wood floors, abundant natural light, living potted plants, lovely oil and watercolor paintings, and rich aroma gives the store a comfortable, earthy atmosphere. A spiral staircase leads up to the living quarters and a trap door hidden under an oriental rug behind the crashers register leads down into the basement storage cellar. There is also a back room and door on the first floor where the shop receives shipments.
