Session 2: 3/23/2019-Kashral Oasis, in search of the Onyx Obelisk Report
General Summary
In Tara Mura, it was brought to your attention there was an earthquake and an Onyx spire erupted out of the ground. That was a few months ago. Since then, slave trading has become ruthless and people have been abducted for it. This got you guys to go out to the city a week or so away, with Eric’s character staying behind to have a political meeting before catching up to you guys. He was only gonna be a days travel or so behind.
You guys made it to the Kashral Oasis, Met Samuul Esterdark the leader of this small cluster of tents, houses and trade posts. He introduced you to Jazeela. She is a minor magic user but a historian of the region and a bit of a linguist/code breaker. After finding out Samuul’s good friend Charnos, the half orc bounty hunter was murdered by were-jackal slave traders you decided to pack up with Jazeela and head out the three days travel to the spire. Mahlmet, one of the Jackalwere’s was cooperative and Harool promised that he would try to make it back in the 10 day waiting period (that’s the last day his head won’t be unburied. Harool also paid locals to feed him and keep him alive.
You guys traveled the few days via horseback, You guys were spying from a distance at the Obelisk waiting for Eric’s character to show up before shutting it down.
