After the birth of their son Leo, King Francisco became skeptical of his son's parentage. After discovering evidence of an affair with a guard, Queen Elia the Red was imprisoned at Fuerte de Lobos.   The child, Leo Francisco, would have been put to death as well, if he were not kidnapped and brought to Sacristan by Noelia's father, Prince Sebastian Savoia of Valencia.
